Police Student Scholarship
WAWP Scholarship Application 2019
The Police Student Scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a career in law enforcement or a related program, who meets the below listed criteria:
- has completed at least 9 credits of higher education
- has a minimum GPA of 2.5
- has completed the application with all of the appropriate attachments
The scholarship will be given once a year. The deadline for the application is May 30th.
The scholarship will be awarded for the amount of $500 at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.
A check will be sent directly to the school the student is attending. The scholarship winner will also receive a one-year membership to the Wisconsin Association of Women Police and will be invited to the yearly awards ceremony.

Jennifer L. Sebena Memorial Training Scholarship
The Wisconsin Association of Women Police, in conjunction with the Wauwatosa Peace
Officers Association, is proud to provide a $200 scholarship to a WAWP member for financial
assistance to attend the 2020 Training Conference. We are honored to receive this support from
the WPOA in Officer Sebena’s name so that her service and sacrifice shall always be

Jennifer Sebena Memorial Scholarship funds will serve to reimburse out-of-pocket attendance and/or hotel fees
up to $200. The scholarship winner will be picked randomly at the conference. Non-attendance voids the application. Only attendees who have out-of-pocket expenses for the conference are eligible for up to but not exceeding $200 reimbursement. If the winner of the scholarship does not meet $200 in reimbursable funds, the surplus amount will be transferred to the student scholarship fund.
